April 27, 2007 — Eyes of Crow wins Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award
Eyes of Crow brought home the award for Best Fantasy Novel at the Romantic Times Booklovers Convention in Houston. The awards were given at a luncheon sponsored by the magazine.
November 8, 2006 — Pocket Buys Vampire Series!
Pocket Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, has bought Jeri’s vampire novel, Bad Company, along with its sequel, Bad to the Bone. The humorous urban fantasy series deals with a cadre of vampire DJs and the con artist trying to save their 'lives. The first book will be published in 2008. July 31, 2006 — Between the Lines quarterfinals in Scriptapalooza
Jeri's romantic comedy script made the first cut in Scriptapalooza, one of the world's largest and most competitive screenwriting competitions. Out of more than 3600 entries, 334 were chosen for the quarterfinals. In the Bluecat Screenplay Competition, Between the Lines received a nearly perfect score (34 out of 36).
